Haworthia jansenvillensis probably belongs to the Arachnoidea group. The plants are dealt with seperately partially due their larger size, but there are also other differences.
The group becomes taxonomically complex to deal with in the Eastern Cape as well as in the Western Cape, much due to the occurrence of translucent leaves, which by default are not characteristic of Haworthia arachnoidea.
I agree with the authors that apply different species names to many of the different plants in this group.
So far it seems to be the only logical way for their identification.
