Haworthia splendens - 'Moonga' is the result of selecting 'rough' (pimpled) H splendens seedlings and cross-pollinating these with each other. Some resulted in rather attractively coloured dark pink and reddish plants of which 'Moonga' is the most extreme both in colour and in rough texture.
