Drimia haworthioides 'erectifolia'

I found this form of Drimia haworthioides growing near Vergelegen north of Oudtshoorn.

The leaves are notably erect as compared to the usual forms. One could argue that this should be taken with a pinch of salt as  the plants mostly grow in the shade. However some plants found in the sun also seemed to retain this characteristic so I shall apply the name 'erectifolia' here perhaps with some reservation. Notably also the scales of one plant removed were whitish and not brownish red as other forms I have seen.

Update observation 220919 : All bulb scales grown under 60 % shade cloth have erect leaves, while leaves grown from other locations remain prostrate confirming the inclusion of 'erectfolia' in the above epithet to be noteworthy. Could it be a small form of Drimia elata ? The latter is not known in these parts.

It is possible that I have misidentified the plant altogether and would be happy if someone could correct me.
