Crossyne guttata- Keurkloof south of Oudtshoorn

Crossyne guttata occurs over wide areas of the Western Cape and Northern Cape.

The purplish flowers are small but form a very attractive umbel. The general believe that this species mainly flowers after fire I have not found to be true. At least not in Keurkloof.

Flowering late March in Keurkloof Nature Reserve south of Oudtshoorn.
