Nicipe R140520A(nova)
Nicipe (Ornithogalum) R140520A(nova) is a small bulb seemingly related to Nicipe lithopsoides.
The plants are however notably smaller and more proliferous than the type variety. Nicipe lithopsoides var. R140520 also has shorter peduncles and fewer flowers.
They only seem to occur on 'lava cemented' ferricrete conglomerate.
The plants occur north of Oudtshoorn and also east of Oudtshoorn near Dysselsdorp.
To my knowledge this bulb has not been described yet.
Nicipe rosulata (Ornithogalum rosulatum)
A recently described species from between Calitzdorp and Oudtshoorn. ( Dr Mario Martinez Azorin et al.) Dr Martinez Azorin regards this species relative to Nicipe britteniae (Ornithogalum britteniae)

Ornithogalum sp. near Oudtshoorn
This interesting Ornithogalum from near Oudtshoorn has similar leaves than Ornithogalum graminifolium but flowers in autumn instead of summer. We are still looking for a name for this bulb.

Fresh seed of this Ornithogalum juncifolia available here:
These bulbs were found in flower some 15 km north of Oudtshoorn. The bulb on the photograph protruding above the ground is atypical as most were just below the soil . The dried leaves resemble Ornithogalum graminifolium . The main flowering stalk is shorter however, the flowers different, and the flowers are borne on the upper half of the main flower stalk while in the case of Ornithogalum graminifolium they appear towards the top. The flowering time is also later - middle January .
