Lachenalia obscura

This small little bulb occurs from Naquanland to the Klein Karoo. Flowering is in midwinter while the plants are in leaf. The shape of the flowers and the leaves are quite variable even at the same locality.

Propagation is from seed or from leaf-cuttings.
